So what's the word on the EX-P505 Pro's MPEG4 video quality? Is it, for now, the champ of MPEG4 recording on a photo camera?

I have the P505 and love it. I would say the video quality is very good.

I've had my p505 for more than a week now and so far it's been great... imo, still quality is average to above average, but that's not why I chose to purchase this gorgeous looking digicam... I must admit that I got this because of its looks and hybrid capabilities.

On the tv (29 inch I think) it's just plain awesome; I only record using high quality 30fps and can't really distuingish between dv tape and its quality. Can't comment much on how it plays on the PC though as my computer's too primitive to play its videos.

A lot of other digicams are capable of recording 640x480 videos in 30fps just like the p505 but what I really dig with the p505 is its ability to squeeze a lot of video time into a 512mb or 1gb card through its use of mpeg4 recording.
