View Full Version : Relation between F10 and Z1

I am really interested in the new Z1 and I noticed it had the same sensor as the F10. I read the review of the F10 and it seemed to be great, but since I am interested in the Z1 it did not help. Well, I need to know, is the preformance of the Z1 @ ISO 800(as high as it goes) going to be as good as the F10? I know it has a smaller sensor size, but would that affect it? If the ISO @ 800 is as good as the F10's, I think Ill get it.

Sensor or imager size does have a sustantial effect. The Z-1 has the same processor as the F-10, but not the same imager. So I do not think that the digital photo quality will be exactly the same for both digital cameras.

Ok thanks. Do you know anything about this camera? it seems really cool. Correct me if Im wrong but wouldnt the photo quality be pretty close between the Z1 and the F10? Also do you know if Fuji has a good reputation for image quality, or is it not good? Thanks again

the F10 is too big for my liking, thats why i was considering the Z1, if deals with low light and its flash is as strong, i will definitely get it!

But unfortunately i dont see that happening.... i now await the DCresource review,, lets hope it arrives quickly!

The Fuji F-10 may indeed be a bit more sizable (it is very close to the Pentax S5i in size),. However, it is no contest at all. The F-10 will always produce a much better photo under lesser lighting conditions than the Z-1.

Which camera do you think will take better general and low light photos, the Z1 or the SD400?

I wish the Z1 review would be completed soon! Im off on holiday soon!

Does anybody have or know where I can see some test photos of the Fujifilm Z1. I am especially interested in its lowlight performance.
