Canon A95 Flash issues

I purchased a Canon A95 couple of months back. The camera worked fine and all of sudden the flash stopped working. The orange light blinks and when i click the shutter the flash light doesnt throw up. Any suggestions? or ideas? or the flash bulb has fused?
