Ok they are pretty similar cameras but i need to choose between one of them! Ideally i would wait for the DCresource review of the F10 and let that decide for me, as i think the reviews here are great, but i don't have that much time! (have until end of May!)

The Casio looks and feels much nicer than the Fuji F10, it looks alot more professional, i love the layout of the buttons, and the menu system is much better.

The photos i have seen from the F10 look much better than the Casio. The Casios video is smaller, and is in stereo, whereas the F10 is in mono and takes up alot of space!

I really don't like the look of the photos from the Casio which i have seen in low light, though the F10's photos perform greatly.

Im stuck between these two cameras!!! Im going to peru in the beginning of June and i want to take either one of them with me! Will be taking alot of landscape, night, club shots. Cuzco is a beautiful city, and i want to show my parents it... ive only just turned 20 lol.

As i said i went into the shop today and had a fiddle around with both the cameras, i really did like the layout of the CASIO, but since neither had memory cards (And the casio stupid 7mb memory was full) , i didnt get to see the photos on screen. Does anyone know if the F10 videos are any good... does it refocus when you go from light to dark, dark to light.etc like the Z750?? I really hope so!

Anyway its between one of these cameras now! Can anyone bring up any more points about either camera?!?!?

Personally, having looked at both digital cameras, I prefer the F-10. The biggest asset to me is the F-10's ability to take excellent digital photos at ISO 1600 with very little noise.

That means that you do not have to depend on flash. With your typical living room lighting you can take excellent digital photos without flash. That should make it ideal for those night club shots. By the way it will be hard to find a night club in Cuzco.

If you choose to use flash you, now have a real advantage. On most digital cameras the flash is usable out to about 10 to 12 feet. On the F-10 the flash is usable out to 23 to 25 feet, very few digital cameras can do that. By the way the Casio Z-750 has a very weak flash going out only 8 to 9 feet.

In the "Photo Gallery" section of this forum, I have started an F-10 folder, in which I have already posted three sample photos. There is also a $50 difference in the two cameras. My F-10 was $324 delivered, or $50 cheaper than the Casio Z-750.

Are you serious? there are tons of clubs in Cuzco, i was there last year lol.

Yeh I'm agreeing what your saying, i just wish the F10 did something about its menu system and general looks, i know these don't really count for much in the end, but i'm quite superficial! The Casio looks great. Could you please comment on the Video? Is the Casio video better? does Fuji's video change focus when going from light to dark, dark to light.etc?

Thanks.

I have never used the video at all. I will have to give it a try.

please can you make a video in different light (well changing from one light mood to another, and then videoing something in motion?) this will be my deciding factor i think.....

hmm but Z750's low light photos and flash photos look very poor!

I tried the video on the Fuji F-10 today. The results were outstanding. The F-10 was very sensitive indeed to any change is light and the finished product was great.
