I have a Fuji S5100. I'm looking to buy a circular polarizer lens filter for my outdoor pictures. I've read good things about B&W and Hoya which are in my price range, but I don't know anything about this area of digital photograpy.
Suggestions are greatly appreciated!

You will find people on both sides of the bench on this issue. Personally I like darker blue skies and white clouds, and a circular polarizer will do just that. Equally so, you will find those folks who feel that the same circular polarizer "distorts" the colors in the photo.
So take you pick. As for me I still use circular polarizers.

What brands of circular polarizers do you use? Do you find one better than the other? Is Quantaray at my local Ritz dealer as good as Hoya, B&W, or Heliopan? Your experience and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Personally, I purchase the cheapest I can find. There is not a heck of a lot of difference between filters.
