Hi, I'm getting a digital camera and have almost decided on the coolpix 4300. I just need to know if anyone has info regarding the memory card that comes with it. What size is it, how many photos would it hold and what other cards does it support?
Also is there a way of recording sound on video mode?
Thanks.
Danny

16MB Compact Flash Type 1
This means it will take any CF Type 1 card, of which there are dozens of choices, all will work in this camera. You will definately want a bigger card, 16meg is too small.

Or you could even look at Jeffs review:

It will do low end video, but no audio. Comes with 16MB CF card which holds about 8 "fine" quality, full resolution, pictures. Note: always take the original in the best mode possible and then reduce size and/or resolution in software for e-mailing. You can never recover resolution or quality.

This camera would not be my pick in this price range (Canon A80?), but maybe the pocket-ability is your driving factor. If so, again there are other "pocket-cams" out there from Nikon, and others, that have video AND sound for the same price.
