I am looking at the Digital Rebel XT, and wondering if it had a B&W or Sepia mode at all... really wanting a B&W mode like I have with my one shot digital camera but didnt know if it existed on this mode or at all with digital SLRs...

If not, guess I can get software to change the picture as last option...

Thank you!

Hi Dactyl! Welcome to DCRP forums!

Yep the EOS 350D has the black and white setting. This is straight from the Canon's webpage:

Monochrome mode (selected from the Shooting menu) with options for Filters and Toning Effects.

Hope this helps! :)

Awesome...that was one of the main items I was looking for in this camera, think my mind is made up about purchasing then! Thank you so much!

Not only does it shoot in B&W and Sepia, but you have your choice of filters to use as well. I love to use the red filter to make grey areas have more contrast. Its an awesome camera
