I'm looking at buying a digital camera for casual use. I like the reviews from the Canon G6 and the Canon A95 . I'll be taking night shots, concerts, clubs , outdoor scenery, indoor pics as well . I would like to print 8x10 or larger photos . Which cam is best ?

I've also been looking at the same cameras, from what I've read in reviews and forums I'd say for prints larger than 8x10 you need a camera with more than 5mp, but that's if you're very picky. The a95 has very good photo quality so large prints should still look good. I am a complete newbie, in fact I haven't ever used a digital camera so don't take my word as hard fact. Personaly I've settled on the G6, it seems like camera that will take me a while to grow into and is still fairly compact. You should also take a look at the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-V3, which is comparable to the G6.
