Greetings :)
I currently have a Sony Cybershot DSC-P72 and it has served me well, and still takes ok photos. My main subject is my 8 month old daughter, who has the frustrating tendancy to move toward me when I am trying to take photos, and with the delay of the sony I miss out on taking great photos. I want to upgrade :) So I will post up the info as laid out in the sticky.
I am willing to look at both SLR & 'normal' cameras.

Budget
I am in Australia so not sure of the conversion, but mid range I think.

Not worried about size.
