blurry pics with Sony cybershot . . .

How do I take good pictures of moving objects such as my cat or baby ... I have a Sony P8, should I use the sport mode... I was thinking that is only for outside use, can anyone help me?

Using the sport mode on your camera is the best bet for stopping motion. Since it sounds like you are shooting indoor, you may want to increase the ISO setting on your camera to give the camera a faster shutter speed.

thanks Jay for the tip... but the p8 has the dial where there is a Scene mode and a Programable mode... only in the Scene mode can I chose the sports mode but then have to go to the progrmable mode to chose the ISO, which I did and chose 400... if I turn the dial back to Scene mode the picture comes out too dark when its an indoor picture any suggestions? thanks! Shawn
