I am looking at purchasing a Vivitar 3935, and I would appreciate anyone's input about this camera. Basically I am wondering if this is a good camera, what kind of card I want, etc. I have also been looking at an SD 128 card for this camera. How many pictures would this card hold if I were to use it with the 3935?
Thanks in advance,
Jonathan

JonathanI did a search, and couldn't find anything about this camera, other than sites offering it for sale. Is there anything special about it that would make you prefer it over, say, a Canon A95, which is much more widely known and accepted, and sells for similar pricing?

Well for one thing, I was planning on buying the Vivitar from Overstock.com, but Overstock doesn't carry the Canon A95.
I guess my question is, is there anything wrong with the Vivitar 3935? I don't want to buy something that I will regret buying later.
One more thing; if I were to buy the 3935 and a SD 128MB card, approximately how many pictures should I be able to store?

Whatever price you get on the 3935 from Overstock, you're buying a camera which seems to be virtually unknown in the world of camera reviews, and doesn't seem to have any user reviews either, that I could find. So is there anything wrong with it? Who knows? On the other hand, even though Overstock doesn't stock the Canon A95, many other more reliable (Overstock has a 2.89/10 rating at http://www.resellerratings.com; in fact, I looked up your camera on Overstock, and they had 4 different 3935s shown, at 4 different prices! I thought that was odd, but maybe it means they only have 4 physical units for sale?) vendors do, and the camera is very well known, and almost universally acclaimed by reviewers and users.
As to your question about pictures/card, you could probably expect 60-70 shots on a 128MB card, though it's hard to say exactly without detailed knowledge of the Vivitar's compression scheme.
