Hi everyone, i'm new!
Ok recently, my Ixus 400 (S400) broke. The Screen cracked (after 2 and a half years!). I always thought it was a great camera!, and it was. Well now is the time to look for a new one. I've been thinking about either the SD300 or SD400 for a longtime (ixus 40 and 50 in england) , but i've been put off about the high noise reports, and that easy to break screens.
I have to admit, im a bit of a canon-lover, i had the Kodak 4330 or something, and i got sick of it so much, as it was too big, so i converted to Canon, and i love the photos and everything. Anyway
Im looking for a camera
with
small (pocket sized, the size of the Ixus 400 was okay, something a little smaller would be great though!)
anything from 4-7mp
an optical zoom (3x preferabbly)
640x480 video unlimited
solid and i will be able to travel around with it easily (im going to south america in a month, so i want to make sure it wont break!)
a camera with very good picture quality..
hmmm and what else? well it has to be under £250...which i think is about $450 , but here cameras are more expensive, for example the Ixus SD500 costs £300, yet it retails for $400 in america no??
