I really need some help before purchasing this FZ20, the review said that the LCD/EVF is nearly impossible to see in low light, that it doesn't gain up. not even by turning up the brightness. What is your expirience? I wanted to know if the low light would be like normal indoors or does this happen in real dark places? Please help me out someone

This is one of the reasons I sold my FZ20, if your house is well lit you should be OK, it will just be a little dark. My lounge room however is rather poorly lit, and the viewfinder was very dark...

The situation which bothered me more was when in Sydney trying to take night shots of the sydney harbour bridge, I basically had to keep taking shots and guessing to reframe and then take another and correct it a bit etc etc to get it framed right as the LCD was pitch black..... I did get some nice shots in the end, but it was more painful than it needed to be!!!!

So basically if you do a lot of low light (especially if to the point of needing to use a tripod) photography it may not be the best choice....
