DiMAGE Z10 doesn't have Image Stabilizer, should I worry about that too much

theres a great deal $160 at microcenter for the z10, everything is good on this camera and is what i am looking for until i realize there is no Image Stabilizer....is it going to be hard to take non blurry pics at night etc etc....ultra zoom is usually for moving objects....so is it that big of a difference? thanks in advance

hello everyone.

i was also having the same question in mind. I am also looking for an Ultrazoom (but economical) Camera, and so far have come to a choice of either Canon PowerShot S1 IS, the Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z10 or the Olympus C-765 Ultra Zoom.

But the Olympus and Konica one dont have any Image Stabliser, which the Canon one does. How much different would it make if, say, i were to shoot at above 6x Optical Zoom? I'm a real novice, so any good examples would be welcome.

Do you have any other suggestions for good cameras with 6x or above zoom but low on cost?
