Just purchased a used a Minolta F100 and it seems like a great little digital camera (other than "chewing up" batteries). My 1st question is what size of SD card can I use? It comes with an inadequate 16mb and I am wondering if I can use a 128mb or 256mb Sandisk SD Memory Card.

Yeah, there shouldn't be any problems.

I use a 256MB SD card in my F200 (basically the same as the F100) and it works fine.
These little cameras do indeed go through AA batteries quickly, don't they! I always take along 4 freshly charged 2300 maH NiMH batteries. If you cut the LCD screen off and use the optical viewfinder to frame your shots your batteries will last a lot longer between recharges.

The only problem with that is framing inaccuracy, which can get pretty bad at the widest angle...
