Hey, cruising the web the other day I found a 5.36MP camera on NewEgg from this maker. Not that I'm replacing my A80 anytime soon but the specs on this seemed to compare well with similar cameras from Fuji, Pentax, etc. But I know there's gotta be a catch.... So, are the lenses plastic, the CCD crappy? I'd be interested in knowing about this camera. I'd seen that they made lower resolution cameras and the reviews weren't good but I have never seen a lower resolution camera reviewed well due to in part I think to buyers not understanding what they're buyihng. Also I see some of this maker's cameras use interpolation  . I've checked the specs on this particular model (DC-MT530B-VP) and it would appear that this camera does not use interpolation. Just for the heck of it can anybody tell me more about this camera?

Like Concord, they're budget cameras made out of cheaper components. All the specs are legit, but you get what you pay for in image quality and durability.

I knew there was something to it. My first camera was an Argus 2.1MP and it didn't do bad but I saw the difference when I switched up to the Canon 4MP. Who's CCD do they use?

They probably use the same CCD's as most others (i.e. Sony's), but that doesn't do squat if the lens or design is poor.
