I own a FinePix S3000, which has all of the usual shortcomings
that detractors often write about.
Most of these annoyances I can live with because the camera
has so many great features, and, in my experience, at least,
I'm able to get excellent images.
One problem that is really driving me crazy, though, is that I am
unable to get more than about 10 percent of the number of images on
an xD card that the camera shows are available. For example, it might show
409 available 2M images on a 256 card, but I can only get about 35.
Formating the card doesn't help.
Is there a problem, or is this normal for this camera?
Thanks
