Hi all; New to this forum! I have recently bought the Lumix FZ5 camera and am quite happy with it.
There are some things which bug me such as the zooming steps rather than sliding to where ever you wish to be...I find the steps too far apart and thus some pictures have been hard to frame correctly wihtout stepping forward or backward a few feet or even meters...one photo in particular in my gallery of photos shows very clearly what I mean (see photo Roppongi 1)
Anyway I am new to all this so don't know much about taking photos...
I went to Japan (from UK) two weeks ago for a holiday and took nearly a thousand pics!
I have started a gallery here:

Any advise how I can improve is much appreciated! All photos handheld with no tripod etc but I found the IS works rather well anyway!
I will be adding more pictures including a series on Mt Fuji up close! The zoom in FZ5 is amazing...I could zoom up to the top of Mt Fuji and you can spot the weather station there which you can not see with your own eyes when you look up!
I hope linking is allowed here...I found the terms and conditions a bit confusing as it mentions commercial sites but my photo gallery is not commercial one so should be ok? :)
