In terms of what? it has less resolution (4mp instead of 5), but consequently should also have somewhat less noise ... the optics are identical, so other than the sensor, 'quality' is the same..

Hard to tell the quality apart with the naked eye.
You have a fine camera...enjoy it.

chances are if you had 2 identical pics printed on a 8x10 sheet of paper from both cameras you might not be able to tell the difference.
Btw, I LOVE my FZ15 :p

Thank you all, You sure had made my day :)
I bought it for 550$ + 128mb memory card (I'm from Israel), and while the Canon S1 costs 458$ in here(not RB, and thats the cheapest), I think i made a good deal.

Although the Fz15 has 1 mp less, it has less noise , and a better dinamic range than the Fz20, because the fotodiodes of the CCD are bigger.
Without unsharp mask , pictures of both cameras are very similar, but with a touch or sharpening , the Fz20 has a little better resolution.
Greetings and enjoy your Fz15
