Olympus Photo Printers

Does anyone own, or know much about Olympus Photo Printers? I have prints made at a lab, and what I have read about printing at home can get pretty pricey and depending on the printer the quality may not be as good/compared to prints from a lab. A family member who works for Olympus, told me that I was getting an Olympus printer for my birthday, because I have just started taking a Photography course, and thought I'd really enjoy a nice printer to print photos at home. So, they mentioned the Olympus P-400, it retails for $399.00 on the Olympus site. I really have not even thought about getting a printer until now. I don't know anything about printers or Olympus brand printers, I was hopeing someone could give their opinion.
