Greetings,

Have used a Canon S10 for several years. Finally thinking of getting new dig cam....

However, if I do, the one thing I miss with the S10 is having a wide angle lens (28MM equiv.)...

Are there any little cameras similar to the Canon S10 (size/design) that have a wider angle lens?

It seems all the dig cams are too focused on zooms....

Thanks for any ideas!

Mark

Mark-

Please take a look at the Olympus 5060 and the Kodak Dx-6440. Both are wide angle digital cameras.

Mark-

Please look back several pages on this forum. There have been some somewhat negative user comments on the Canon S-60.

Jeff just published a thorough review on the Fuji E-510. It has a 28mm wide angle lens position, and with the wide angle conversion lens in place the wide angle is further reduced to a very, very wide 21mm. The focal lengths that I has used here, are of course the 35mm equivalents.

However, the bottom line is this: the wide angle settings for the Fuji E-510 are almost exactly the same as the Olympus 5060 which sells for a much higher price.
