Has anyone used FZ5 yet? I have just bought one recently.

I find my photos from FZ5 are not very vivid. I often have to increase their color saturation or contrast. But several expert reviewers said this model produces very accurate colors. I am confused.

Can anyone post some unedited photos from FZ5 here? Thanks.

This is just a guess ...if you had a picture posted with the exif it would help.
But if the pictures are over exposed the color appears washed out.
Try setting the Exposure compensation at minus 2/3 to see if it helps.

:) when an expert says "accurate" color, it's what ordinary people refer to as "drab" ... the colors are spot-on, but to most people they look better when they're more vivid - if you'd like them brighter, just set the camera saturation / contrast to high and leave it there ... there's nothing wrong with doing that, that's what the settings are for (to cater to different tastes).
