nikon has a new tv commercial on the d70

just saw a nikon commercial pushing their "buy a d70 and get a free epson printer deal." nikon must either be desperate to get rid of their old d70's, or they are getting money from epson to sell ink. no mention on their regular spring rebates (on most lenses, and film cameras)

Wow, I've never seen any camera company besides Kodak try and do TV commercials. They must really be desperate to clear those D70's out...

You mean that you haven't seen all of the HP digital imaging commercials or the Canon Digital Rebel commercials with Andre Agassi. I've also seen Sony, Olympus and Fuji. They are everywhere.

Nikon and Epson have been having bundle rebates at least since Christmas when they were offering rebates on any 4MP or greater Coolpix or D70 bundled with a Stylus Photo printer. These rebates were sent to Epson, though, not Nikon.
