Out of focus - but still not bad

Taken this with my new Canon EOS 300D which I got on Saturday, as you can see still need to practice with the focus/autofocus and the bracketing in the view finder - but I still think that it adds a different perspective to the image.

I would be the last one to criticise your shot! I think it's good that you are showing your new camera shots to us and you are right about the shot - but it is nonetheless interesting. I don't know your camera - you may want to experiment with different focusing modes, also you will discover exposure compensation which helps when shooting into the light. Please continue to post shots and we can share in your progress. Hopefully someone here with more knowledge of the camera will have so helpfull tips to offer.
