I just purchased an adapter and 55mm polarizing filter for my Kodak Easy Share DX6490. Does anyone know if it comes with a lens cap? If not, do I need to buy a screw on lens cap or will an ordinary snap on one do? Where can I find a 55 mm lens cap with the string attached so it isn't lost.

filters don't usually come with caps unless they are the slim ones from HOYA, the ones without front threads - those will come with slip-on covers. the regular snap on caps will work with filters that have front threads, and no they don't usually come with strings. you'll have to get those seperately and they're around $2.
