Its funny you should ask this as only yesterday I was talking about buying our daughter a digital. She seems to do better with it and it would save us a lot on disposable cameras :cool:

1 = Yes
2 = 3.5
3 = Yes
4 = a + b - what is c ? :p
5 = Yes - see above
6 = 3 minimum
7 = If interested in cameras - My daughter gets through a film in about 2 hours !
8 = £80
9 = Most important first a, c, b, d, e, f.
In my case must have a good screen & non popup flash. If she were older the zoom and settings would be as important but currently she just needs a point and shoot. Software, again if she were older something basic as children like instant results and do not want to spend hours editing the images - my understanding anyway.
10 = I am no good at names.
11 = I think simple point and shoot + built in flash + large power & shutter button + compact + large screen + bright color

I hope this is of help.
