Cybershot DSC-P73 broken LCD screen

:confused: I broke the LCD screen, anybody know how much it cost to replace, is it worth replacing.

Probably starting at $100 and probably more because it's Sony. That's already half the cost of the camera. I would just buy a new camera.

Are you under an accidental protection plan or warranty?

No warranty on the camera. Camera still works ok without the screen.

When you get the quote, make sure you are sitting down. Small digital cameras are best considered disposable items.

A friend's 12 year old daughter has a HP 307 and she dropped it a couple of weeks ago, cracking the LCD.

The HP quote for the repair was AUS $500. You can buy the camera new for under AUS $250.
