I stumbled into an opportunity the other day. If you're out in the wild and get a strong oder of urine, have a look around. You may be surprised at what you find. You can view more here: http://behr655.smugmug.com/gallery/493209

Pretty cool shots. I don't think we will see many fox shots. Having that long lens really helps in cases like these. Just for fun you should see how some of those shots crop to give even more of a close-up.

Funny, I can walk around downtown San Francisco and smell a strong urine odor too, so it's not just in the wild :D

Very interesting shots - and something we don't have the privalidge of seeing very often - if at all. Enjoyed these photos - I also enjoyed looking at your other photos thanks for sharing. Both cameras work well with you in control!

Assuming you're not all joking about the human inhabitants :D - firstly I didn't get time to notice (the smell) on my Whistlestop tour with my Sons school and secondly - we have Foxes all around in Surrey England - and often going in closer to town (London) you see them around the shops etc at night. They make a terrible noise out in the roads late at night sometimes. Never dreamt of taking photos - mostly because it's usually late at night they come out.

It must have been fun to see those little guys cavorting around. Were they afraid of you? Thanks for posting your shots!

They actually seemed to be intrigued by the sound my camera made. I startled them once and they dove into the den but came right back out when they heard the focus lock beep.
Glad you enjoyed the shots.

Oh, those little guys are just adorable. I know how difficult it is to even see foxes, much less photograph them. Where were you when you captured these shots?
