Hello
I recieved the camera a couple of days ago and I am pretty happy with it.
However, even when I shake the camera very gently I can listen to a rattling sound coming from within its body (just like a loose screw that bangs on its body). Note that even though I hold down the wrist strap mount and the battery/memory door the rattling sound persists. Am I listening to non existent sounds?
Thanks in advance for your input.

Thanks in advance for your input.I believe what you may be hearing is the sound of the device that senses orientation of the camera so that it can display vertically taken shots correctly...

Thanx for the reply
I hope that somebody with the same camera will confirm the same sound coming from his/her digicam so I will be sure that mine is not faulty.
Thx again

I can confirm what JTL said. If you want to test it, roll your camera slowly 90 degrees onto its side, you should hear the sensing mechanism click into place. However, you shouldn't hear anything if you roll the body of the camera forward or backward as the orientation sensor doesn't do anything to compensate for pitch.
