so i finally bout a dx7440, i just have one question now about this awesome camera, is there a way on the camera i can change how big the pictures are in pixels, like 640x480 and so on, becuase right now it takes these monsterous photos on all the megapixel settings and its a hassel to resize them in photoshop on my slow computer.

If there is a way could someone tell me how?

Casey-

Resolution/file size is right on the DX-7440's menu.

1. Turn the camera on
2. Push the menu button
3. Toggle down with the controller in the center of the mode selector one click to "picture size
4. Push down on the toggle
5. Select the resolution/picture size you desire, the minimum size is 1.1mp
6. Press the meu button to dismiss the menu

That is how its done. By the way, all this stuff is in your instruction book.

Casey-

Whenever the resolution is reduced, sharpness will also decrease. Keep in mind the ol rule. For the very best digital photo quality: Use your greatest resolution coupled (the fine selection) with the least compression.

If you want 640x480 pictures and your pc is slow, try Irfanview at http://www.irfanview.com/
This program is much faster booting than PS7 or PSP8.
