Taken at the Oklahoma Redhawks game today. Used my Canon 20D with my 75-300mm IS USM lens. Used the Sports mode for the photo.

Maybe crop a little off the right and center the action...surely then a frameable, autographable shot.

BTW, did he swing (and miss)? Looks like a splitter ready to to be rung-up as a strike! :)

That was actually a ball, so he didn't swing. I thought about cropping, however I was trying to apply the rule of 1/3rds.

I agree, no crop is needed in this photo. There needs to be space to the right on this image anyway because of the direction the batter is hitting towards, if that makes sense.

You are are too nice. I suck at taking photos. These were easy. Wait to Speaklightly goes to China and blows away my crappy Great Wall of China photos.

I can't wait to see her photos.

I'm a newbie.

Daytime sports photos are easy.

Those pictures are awesome. I hope one day to take pictures like that. :)
