Hi people, I'm gonna start a Sticky for Southeast Asia (i.e. countries like Vietnam, Cambodia Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore and Indonesia).

Jeff: Wonder if its ok to make this one a Sticky.

I'd start off with Singapore as that's where I am. Here's a shot of the Singapore skyline at night. Do gimme your feedback.

Great shot! What did you use for that?

I used the Nikon D70 :)

Had a hard time setting up my tripod for that shot. I wanted to make sure the Fullerton hotel (the building with the bright lights on the lower right) came into the frame.

Gary-

That is a wonderful photo. It showcases quite nicely what the Nikon D-70 is capable of in everyday shooting.

In the summer of 2004, I had the opportunity to visit Southeast Asia and its exotic splendors. Being equipped with a basic, amateur camera I realize that my photos are inferior to the extravagant and fantastic pictures with SLRs, photography skills/lessons, etc. I recently stepped up to the plate in my photography enthusiasm and decided to get a Digital Rebel SLR. Nevertheless, I've got a a small selection of the numerous photos taken during my trip. (I've decided to simply include the URL so it wouldn't bog down any users with slower computers or internet connection.) Hope you enjoy:
