Some pics of the Great Wall of China. They aren't great because there was a great deal of haze and smog around. The Great Wall is built on the peaks of some really tall mountains. We took a ski lift up to the top of the peaks. The wall itself was very steep in places. My legs were like rubber by the time we left, and I am in pretty good shape from running 4-5 times a week.

Awesome as I'd love to visit that wonder of the World someday.

Mr. Peabody-

Thanks for the excellent photos. We will be there in June as we are doing a workshop in China.

This brings to mind a question... does anyone have any tips for spicing up the sky on photos taken on cloudy / foggy days?

Any camera/lens settings info?

George, I was shooting with my Canon 20D and used both a Canon Zoom Lens EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 IS (USM) and a Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di. I took two pictures of everything. I took one in the Auto setting and one in the Landscape setting.

I'll post some more pics later.
