Flatbed Scanner for B & W Negatives

I have lot's of old black and white negatives ( 30 or more years old ) . I no longer have a darkroom . Is there a Flatbed Scanner that will do a decent job ? I really would like to review the pictures . I have Adobe Photo Eliments 3 and a Canon IP 5000 Printer .
