I notice a big difference between how my images look on the LCD screen of my camera vs. how they look on my monitor. When I look at them on the lcd, they look sharp and the color looks good. But when I look at them on my PC, some images are out of focus and when the exposures on the LCD look good to me, they look kind of dark on the PC.
Does anyone else have trouble with this?

A lot of it has to do with the screen size. The LCD of your camera is pretty small, so naturally defects and bad spots don't come up clearly. Blow it up on a PC screen and suddenly, those defects start to appear. :)

That definitely makes sense. I think the most bothersome differences is the difference in brightness. I take a lot of shots with different exposures. When I view them on the LCD, the slightly darker images seem to have better color depth and don't look washed out. When I get them on the PC at full size, the darker ones look...well, dark. and the ones that look washed out look "normal"
It's taking some time to get used to the differences....I guess that's why we bracket our shots?

You can use a program like Photoshop to level out your lighting on your pics. If you took a great shot but the lighting was probably not what you wanted, load it onto PS and select the Image - Adjust - Auto level option.
With using your LCD to gauge your pics' turnouts, might have to train yourself that if a pic looks a certain way on your LCD it will turn out this way and so on. :)
