I think im going to purchase one shortly but I dont know what this means.
40-frame burst at 1M continuous
and am curius to what it means? anyone able to help me out?

i think it means you can take 40 photos per 1 second, under the 1M model.

On Fuji's press materials, it says:
"Continuous: Long-period (Max. 1.6 frames/sec. up to 40 frames.)"

I have this camera and you can take 40 pics in a row at the full 4MP Fine resolution, but depending on the brightness and shutter speed, it may not sustain a 1.6 fps speed. Top and Final-3 modes are significantly faster at 3 fps avg.
