Peace all
What is the better small compact camera out there?
1- Smallest cam size possible
2- 4,5,7 MP (high res) possible
3- with video (NTSC/PAL) 640 X+ at 30 or 60 fps with size limit depending on size of disk.
Ive had my eyes on:
-Canon Ixus 50, i tried this today, seems fickle in dark situations with autofocus.
-Canon Digital Elf, powershot 500
-Pentax Optio X (great idea with screen that tilts)
Can anyone recomend a cam or know better then this list?
thank you

Whenever someone asks for camera buying advice, there always seems to be a very restricted range of cameras suggested. I know there are good reasons for this, but I want to chip in with support for a "lesser" brand.
I considered all the options, and ended up buying a Ricoh Caplio RZ1. There are better and more recent models available in the range, but I am happy with the camera, and love the speed with which it is ready to start shooting, as I find my Minolta Z1 a bit sluggish. (In fact, I am so fed up with the start up delays that I went on to film SLRs, which I mainly use now.)
You seem fairly demanding with your video needs, so maybe you want sound too? Be careful, as some digicams do silent video, which you may find disappointing.
