View Full Version : It's hot
Few days ago me and my husband took a hike.
It used to be a road here.
We hiked for nearly 2 hours and suddenly my husband yelled: “It’s hot!” I looked down and saw red lava in the crack just beneath my feet. I had better shoes than my husband did, but now I could feel the heat too.
We looked around and saw red hot lava slowly approaching. It seemed it got out of nowhere, but it was one of brake up of a lava tubes.
We continued with our hike. When we passed lava flow, we came to the edge of the cliff and watched red lava entering the ocean.
Keeping in mind that the cliff we were staying on could collapse at any moment, I took few more pictures rather fast
Awesome. Looks like Kilauea??

Hey, get out of there!
Aren't you glad you weren't wearing flip-flops --or barefoot?
