Finally got some water shots, I took like 40 pictures and these are the few ones that came out ok.

Good work but only one thing is you need to crop the spout toward the end away from no so good looking tile job where it meets.

Minus the water spout...HOLY CRAP! Those are some NICE shots! :D


Did you use a flash? What camera and settings?

It was in low light, used the flash, high shutter,vivid color and highest res. And got super close, camera got a littler bit wet but wipped it off right after the shot.

I love the very last shot of the bowl. I agree that the yukky-looking tile and the corrosion on the faucet is distracting in the other shots. And the bright light in the "bowl" shots is kind of distracting also, to me anyway. But great shots otherwise, and very creative! How many shots did you have to take to get these ones?

About 40 for the faucet onces then just a few for the bowl ones.

Very nicely done! Last two in the bowl are very impressive! Ugh, I'm gonna have to jump on the bandwagon about the spout too. But I'm sure you must have had to lock yourself in the bathroom while taking those shots while the wife was banging on the door shouting, "What's going on in there?!"

Keep in up! Would like to see more! :D

I can only add that in some "artsy" way the uglyness of the spout and tile (although from normal viewing distances these probably aren't that bad) are in stark contrast to the clarity of the water. You really need to add a little mold and mildew for color. ;)

Also..uh... this water thing is getting a little OC...eh? (only kidding)

11 out of 40+ is over 25%, not bad! Ya gotta love macro shots.
