Canon Rebel vs Canon Rebel XT

I'm about to purchase my first digital camera. I want to stick with Canon since I have other lenses from my Canon 35 mm. I'm looking at the Rebel 300D or the Rebel XT. Is the extra money worth bumping up to the XT with the 8.2 megapixels? Any other advantages? Thanks

There are ideed many quite measurable advatages to going to the Canon 350 XT. But only you can make that decision.
