Did anyone else notice that the new Pentax Optio X is apparently a 5 megapixel (effective) camera, but the images clearly show that it is rated at 4 megapixel (see lens barrel) :confused:

I guess maybe there are two versions.....

Wow, good catch. I've got both the 4MP and 5MP labels on the product photos (http://www.dcresource.com/news/newsitem.php?id=2829) they sent me. I'm guessing it was 4MP then they changed their mind :)

I'm guessing it was 4MP then they changed their mind :)You know, the one that says "25% more PIXELS! Special Today!" Reminds me of the RAM I designed away back before you guys were born, circa 1969. We didn't have all the CAD tools then they have now, so a layout designer laid out my memory cell to my liking, and then made "Pasties," or copies of the cell for laying out the array, which was supposed to contain 512 bits. Well, pasting on those pasties got to be so much fun, my layout designer got carried away. I went into the layout room, and there he was, pasting, pasting, the only problem was he had pasted more than 700 cells already!
