New camera help please

Ok im looking for a good good camera in the 300-450$ price range that would be good for portrait stuff and has good or decent manuel controls . eny suggestions enybody

Im not sure of prices in Dollars - but I would start off looking at the recently superceded Canon range - the A75, 85 & 95. These are all similar and take great photos and have lots of controls. Hope that helps.
