Hi
I am looking to buy my first digital camera and would like some help or feedback about what my best bet would be..
The 2 cameras I have it sort of narrowed down to are:
Panasonic DMC LZ1/2 but am worried about the LCD in low light/ no viewfinder combo
Canon Powershot A520
Fuji E550 seems to have lower image quality?
any feedback or other suggestions?? In your opinion would be my best bet?
Also How much of a difference is there between 4 and 5 mp? I don't plan to do much large printing is it worth it to pay for the higher mp?
What I am looking for:
4+ Megapixels (I dont plan on making very many large prints so I think this should be sufficient)
4x Optical zoom or higher. This is important to me, my previous camera a Canon Elph (APS) seemed to have a weaker zoom than I had hoped for.
Size: The smaller the better! I would like something more on the small portable side, but I realize that the larger the zoom the bigger the camera tends to get... I would like to have something no more than around 4" wide and 2" thick!
Uses: Probably more indoor than outdoor. I just want something to take pics of groups of friends/ travel photos.
I would like "good" quality images, but for the most part all the pictures on this site look the same to me, unless you sit and stare at them for forever, which i dont plan on....
Any suggestions I can get would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
