Hi,

Greetings!

I am planning to take some shots of watches for a online catalog and I appreciate for any good lens suggestion for my D70.

Thanks in advance.

The Nikkor 60mm Micro (macro) lense is really good. Its optics are astonishing - it costs around 300-360.

Thanks... It might work, the price in Hong Kong here seems cheaper, at about US$320.00.

How close I can photo my watches with using the Nikkor 60mm micro??

I have this lens, and I believe that the minimum working distance is 8.75".

Here is a photo of a ruler at the closest working distance. The top scale is in mm, the bottom in inches.

Brought the lens today for little over $300. The manual said I have to use tripod always...

I will try tomorrow.

Thanks for all the help.

I would suggest a Nikon 60mm Micro lens. The sharpest Nikon lens ever made.
