In reference to fgreenhuts question on the speed of compact flash. I have been looking at the Canon S1 IS for the 640 * 480 and 30 fps video capability. Would the standard compact flash be sufficient or would it be necessary to go to a more "quote" (high performance and expensive card). There seems to be quite a difference in price of the compact flash cards and one almost needs to be a memory engineer to understand all the technical talk. I need to do some more research on this but thought some other users may have some good advice on this subject.
