Just a cautionary tale:

I bought my camera at buydig.com today. I wanted to buy it at newegg, which gets higher ratings (and which has served me well before), but I went with buydig because they were underselling newegg by $50.

Despite all of my careful planning, I got so anxious to buy the camera that I didn't price everything out before making the purchase. If I did, I might have noticed that all-told, the two sites were closer than I thought:

Buydig:
G6: $495
512 Ultra Sandisk Card: $79 (- a $10 rebate)
Shipping: $18
TOTAL: $592

Newegg:
G6: $549
512 Ultra Sandisk Card: $49
Shipping: Free
TOTAL: $598

With the rebate, I'll end up having saved $20, but I would much rather have had the peace of mind of ordering from a company I trust. I'm just hoping that the camera gets to me without a problem.

Buydig should be fine, from most accounts it's a trustworthy place.

However, as a general rule, don't rush to buy your memory at the place you buy the camera from--they often sell the camera at a discount but mark up memory.

For memory, go to newegg.com, that's probably the cheapest (or buy.com, which has never let me down despite the mediocre reviews. They're a little slow, but their stuff always gets to me, and the rebates have all been fulfilled in the past).

Newegg is one if the only places I ever buy computer hardware from and they are an excellent company to deal with plus fast shipping on in stock items. Usually 2 ~ 3 day FedEx on everything they sell.
