DiMAGE 5 - How to turn off power save?

My mother has a Minolta DiMAGE 5 and has been, overall, satisfied with it. However, when she is importing her photos onto her computer, halfway through the camera will go into power save mode, terminating the download.

My father, my brother and I have all tried switching it off, but there appears to be no way to do this. So if there is, how? If not, is there a way to forestall the power save i.e. pushing a button every ten minutes or so befor it goes off?

In the basic set up menu is an option to set the power save function to 1, 3, 5 or 10 minutes. Better still, get a USB 2.0 card reader and download the pictures using it rather than hooking the camera up to the computer. It's much quicker and saves camera batteries.
