The Butterflyphoto.com salesman told me that I must use Sony brand High Speed Memory Stick Pro in my new DSC-W5. I was going to purchase SanDisk Memory Stick Pro (regular speed) but he said that it takes 5 seconds to write each picture.
The Sony spec says it has a "read/write" speed of 80 Mbps. The Sandisk spec says it has "data transfer" speed of only 15 Mbps.
I have two questions...
1. Is "read/write" the same as "data transfer"?
2. Do I really need the high speed for just taking photos in my W5?
