Pentax Optio S50

I have just started to use my new S50 camera and so far it has been fine except that it seems to really drain my batteries. I bought rechargeable ones (Power 2000) which was recommened to me by the sales assistant. After taking about 15-20 pictures my batteries will die. Is the problem my batteries or the camera? Thanks

I have just got my pentax optio s50 camera and i lost my user guid. I also have a battery problem, after about 20 pictures the battery dies.Is it the camera or do i need a certian battery? please help me. yankee420ny@aol.com

The Optio S50 was designed with the CR-V3 battery in mind. You'll get alot better performance using this battery. Its not rechargable, but I've found it lasts a long time. I only use it while testing cameras, maybe 5-10 pics a day, and it has lasted months. It still shows fully charged.
