Looking into getting my 3rd camera
really like the reviews on the S1
? does this camera have a date/stamp option ???

any suggestions if this camera does not
as far as other mfg... - should I wait for
the g6 or minolta z3

Really want a easy to use - camera w/ a zoom more than 4x

any help is greatly appreciated.

I've been eyeing the Panasonic FZ10, but am holding out for the new ones - Panasonic FZ3, FZ15, FZ20.

Great lens and 12x optical.

There's also the older Panasonic FZ-1, also with 12x optical, but only 2mp.

The FZ3 is the 3.2 MegaPixel replacement for the FZ1. Same form factor and primo zoom, but they have added an AF Illuminator. Had they chosen the 1.8" LCD instead of the 1.5" LCD this would be the perfect low cost ultra zoom.
